Two More Flights to Madrid

Posted on

Iberia has brought back into operation two early morning flights from Granada Airport to Madrid – they had been dropped during the pandemic.

These Iberia flights will take off at 06.30h on Tuesdays and Wednesday, come the autumn. However, ticket for flights in November, when they begin, are already on sale.

These flights are in high demand for business travellers, as leaving at that time means that they will be Madrid by 07.40h, giving them plenty of time later to catch the 19.40h flight back, landing in Granada at 20.50h.

These additional flights will mean that Granada has 21 flights to and from Madrid a week.

When Iberia first established these flights, they took off at 07.00h. In 2019 On Nostrum stopped their flights because they wanted them to take off half an hour earlier so that travellers could catch connection flights out of Madrid, but the problem was that Granada Airport wasn’t operative before 07.00h in the morning, so things had to change, which they did, allowing flights at 06.30h.
