A teenager was injured after being knocked down by a tram in Granada yesterday.
The incident took place on the lines crossing Avenue of Carlos V between the Andres Segovia and Sports Palace tram stations.
An ambulance soon attended to the 13-year-old, whose injuries have not been released to public knowledge at the time of writing.
According to some eyewitnesses, the victim had jumped over a barrier only to be knocked over by one of the trams.
Obviously, there were interruptions in the tram service, with trains running to Albolote not affected but those coming the opposite way between Alcazar del Genil and Alboloteand between New Los Cármenes and Vestwere temporarily halted whilst the lad was being attended to at the scene of the accident before being taken to Traumatology Hospital in the city.
