Salobreña Town Hall has several things lined up for the Día de Andalucía (28th), including live music within a marquee next to the Municipal Sports Pavilion.
The celebrations begin on the night of the 27th in a marquee, followed the next day with parades led by the Municipal Band and then the raising-of-the-Andalusian-Flag ceremony, which will be accompanied with the singing of the regional anthem (Beehoven’s 9th Symphony/4th Movement – Ode to Joy).
There will also be Flamenco-dancing displays, performed by the School of the House of Culture and Cristina Rosado, during the morning. Then, there will be a charity Paella put on by the AECC to raise funds for their very worthy cause.
In the evening it’s more popular music in the municipal marquee: Fernando King, Ray, Cannabis, Refugesas well as two DJs: Dj Bond & DJ The Hour.
The Horse Friends Association has organised a parade, as well, including a dressage display, next to the fairground area.
