Salobreña Christmas Market | Costa Tropical Gazette News

The tradition Christmas Flea Market opens today in its habitual place; in the northern part of town close to the first N-340 entrance just past Hotel Miba.

Lots of opportunities to snap up some unusual crimbo pressies (Xmas gifts) whilst at the same time helping a good cause because the flea market is for charity.

So, the market begins tomorrow at 10.00h and remains open until 20.00h in the evening. After that, it will continue to operate but during normal flea-market times; i.e., 10.00h to 12.00h. This depends, of course, on how quickly they run out of things to sell!

The market is organised by the same people who organise the normal flea market and will be offering second-hand items and the proceeds of which will go to stocking up the food bank. It goes without saying that it is at this time of the year when the food-bank has most demand.

You don’t have to just buy something to cooperate with the cause because you can also donate items for sale. There will also be chocolate with rum! served in the crescent!

If you’re not sure where the premises is, it’s where the old Guardia Civil post used to be.
