Police Get New Parking | Costa Tropical Gazette News

Well, at least the Policía Local won’t have trouble finding somewhere to park this summer, as they are going to have an extended parking area.

The Mayor, Maria Eugenia Rufino, together with councilors for Public Works and Citizen Safety (Maria Jose Garcia and Ignacio Trujillo, respectively) popped by the construction work (accompanied by cameras) to see how it was going.

Basically, the existing parking alongside the police station is being extended by levelling the entrance area so that the old and the new area will be on the same level. The work will also include a structure over the parking spaces to provide shade.

This construction work, which has a budget of 45,000 euros from municipal coffers and should take a month to conclude, will also include access to the Fountain neighborhood where the new medical centre will go.
