The PP branch of Salobreña has criticised the state of the Punto Limpio (rubbish collection point) and aula didáctica (classroom) on the same premises in Lobres.
They say that it has turned into a simple rubbish dump owing to negligence on the part of the Mayor, whereas it should have been a show case of how to handle old furniture, white goods and other household appliances properly.
The PP candidate for Mayor, Rafael Bosch, considers that ever since the socialists have occupied the Mayoralty (eleven years) the installations have been allowed to go to wrack and ruin.
He claims that the classroom is being used as a place to store fruit crates and greenhouse refuse and the perimeter fence is badly in need of repair; in some places, sections lie on the ground.
The PP demands that the place be cleaned up, fences repaired and CCTV installed. Furthermore, the classroom area has had aircon units ripped out and bathrooms wrecked, so this also needs to be attended to.
