More and more towns along the Costa Tropical are sporting murals in order to attract tourism, amongst them Castell de Ferro, Gualchos La Herradura, Otívar and now Torrenueva Costa.
Recently independent Torrenueva Costa counted on international artist, David Pavón to embellish the town with a mural. He has worked with the BBC and MondoTVas well as illustrating books for publishing houses such as Randon House, Harper Collins, Oxford University Press and SM Group. He’s even worked with Disney Pixarand quite a bit more.
As you can imagine, Mayor Plácido Lara is very pleased to have an artist of such standing participating in making the town more attractive, but he is equally appreciative of the urban-art artist from Granada, María Die, who belongs to the National Graffiti Leagueas well as different international organisations. She has participated in events in Europe and Latin-America.
And the Mayor is not the only person who is happy about the works of these two artists in Torrenueva Costa, because local residents are impressed as well.
