Padul’s Uncle | Costa Tropical Gazette News

A French pop group came up with a song about Padul in the Valle de Lecrín, which grows on you, we warn you!

They explained in a local newspaper that it was not their intention to offend the good folk of Padul and that the reason that they had chosen this town was that one of their grandmothers was from there and still has a house in town that nobody was living in, so a couple of them decided to spend some time there one summer in order to write some new material.

It starts off slowly, and as the singer gets more and more drunk, the music speeds up. It’s a good way to practice your Spanish, too, with comments about the Chinese bazar, etc.

Enjoy
