A lucky lottery ticket holder won 1,660,995 euros thanks to be the only person who chose all the winning numbers.
The winner, who obviously is not announcing the windfall far and wide, entered his winning combination at lottery office Nº4 on Broad Street, Number 2.
The winning numbers drawn on Friday the 26th were: 14, 27, 28, 37, 42 and 46, with the complementary number 19.
Of course, the State-run lottery will not be short of a bob or two because it took 2,768,705.50 euros, which is a tidy profit.
The State, of course, also gets 21% of the winner’s prize money, which is somewhere around 133,000 euros.
