The most affected area in the city was the Pilar Garcia Romanillos Streetwhere the fire service was called in to pump out flood water.

There were also huge puddles (small ponds in size) on Las Alpujarras Avenue, Alfacar Highway and at the entrance to the fairground where the Corpus Christi fiestas are taking place; i.e., the Fair in Almanjáyar.

There have also been rockfalls along the GR-5204 serving Polopos near kilometre point two (Haza del Lino).

The National Weather Agency issued a Yellow-Level warning that lasted until eight in the evening.
