A Very Windy Day! | Costa Tropical Gazette News

The Granada coastline will face the force of a gale tomorrow, moving in from the north, bringing with it winter temperatures… at last!

The Spanish meterological agency, AEMETissued an Orange-Level alert at 08.00h yesteday which will probably last until Thursday, with winds up to 80 kph and waves of between four and six metres.

Further inland, Sierra Nevada will have snowfall on Tuesday and Wednesday with night temperatures of minus 10ºC.

So, it looks like we can kiss goodbye to this false, spring-like winter that we have enjoyed until now. Many of us, dying to fire up a log fire, won’t be upset by this.
